Only one partner works at a time while the other rests. Each partner must complete an entire round before switching. Example flow: → Partner A completes Round 1 → Partner B completes Round 2 → Partner A completes Round 3 → Partner B completes Round 4 → Partner A completes Round 5 → Partner B completes Round 6 Both partners will complete 3 rounds each.
