"Max'd" (1A)

Déroulé
For max weight (combined) Athlete 1: 5:00 to achieve 1RM Snatch (Event 2) 2:00 to achieve max Overhead Squats at the 7:00 min mark, Athlete 2 will begin Athlete 2: 5:00 to achieve 1RM Clean and Jerk (Event 2) 2:00 to achieve Max Shoulder to Overhead This is the first of a two-part event for scoring purposes. Event 1 will be scored for combined load and Event 2 will be scored for combined reps. Athletes will go one after the other in two separate 7-minute intervals, each athlete will have 5 minutes to establish a 1 RM of their given lift for Score 1. At the 5-minute mark, teams will adjust the bar weight for the given athlete to perform max reps of the movement designated to their lift for Score 2. The tiebreaker will be the combined reps from Event 2 (max overhead squats in 2min + max shoulder to overhead in 2min) 🚨FAQs 🚨 💀Athletes can receive assistance when loading barbells 💀Athletes cannot load the bar to the max rep weight until the 5:00 mark 💀Any Snatch / Jerk variation is allowed.
