10 Bars of Death

Déroulé

10 Bars of Death: scored twice: (1) total combined and (2) combined heaviest complex finished**
Ten barbells will be placed in a zigzag pattern from lightest to heaviest. At go, the athlete will choose a bar to lift, complete the complex, and move to another, heavier bar. Each athlete will have 90 seconds to lift as many bars as they can*. When athletes lift their final bar they may proceed to the 10th bar and  deadlift it as many times as possible before their time is up.
THE COMPLEX IS ONE DEADLIFT, ONE POWER CLEAN FROM THE GROUND, ONE HANG SQUAT CLEAN (scaled athletes will not be required to squat)
*athletes may skip bars, but may not go backward
**tie-break is # of deadlifts at the tenth bar
