25.5 HEARTBREAK HILL

Illustration MonWOD pour un WOD avec course
At the call of “3, 2, 1… GO,” one athlete from each team will begin the run on a course approximately 400–500 meters long, which includes the challenging incline known as Heartbreak Hill. Teams are required to complete a total of four laps, with athletes running individually and/or alternating as they choose, provided changes only occur in the designated transition zone at the start/finish line. The transition must include a physical tag between teammates before the next runner can begin their lap.
A lap is counted once the runner fully crosses the line and completes the tag, after which the next teammate may start. The event is complete when the team has finished all four laps in total.
The final score will be determined by placement — the order in which teams finish — with no official times recorded. Judges will track lap completions, while volunteers will be stationed along the route to provide direction, support, and ensure safety. Any mid-course substitutions, missed laps, or incomplete tags will result in a placing penalty.
